About SoundLand

Transforming Canadian Speech-Language Practice, One Connection at a Time

Our Story

In the rapidly evolving world of Canadian clinical practice, a crucial gap existed: the disconnect between groundbreaking global research and the accessible, modern tools Speech-Language Pathologists needed in their daily work. SoundLand was born from this exact challenge.

Founded in 2024 by Speech-Language Pathologist Kim Rizzetto, SoundLand emerged as Canada's answer to outdated resources and professional isolation. We recognized that Canadian clinicians deserved more than cutting, pasting, and laminating their way through ineffective materials. They deserved a sophisticated platform that understood their unique needs, respected their expertise, and connected them with a community of like-minded professionals.

Our Mission

SoundLand exists to elevate Canadian speech-language pathology through premium resource curation, evidence-based education, and genuine community building. We're not just another supplier—we're your trusted partner in clinical excellence, bringing together the finest tools, continuing education opportunities, and professional connections under one distinctly Canadian roof.

What We Do

Kim Rizzetto, Speech-Language Pathologist

As a tenured Speech-Language Pathologist with nearly two decades of experience, Kim understands the daily realities of clinical practice. A member in good standing of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario since 2006, she has worked across diverse settings—from school boards and children's treatment centres to hospitals and private practice.

Specializing in speech sound disorders for school-aged children, Kim established SoundLand from her private practice in Sarnia, Ontario, driven by a simple belief: Canadian clinicians deserve resources as sophisticated and dedicated as the work they do. Her passion for supporting families through their communication journeys now extends to supporting the professionals who make those journeys possible.

Our Vision

We envision a Canada where every speech-language professional has access to premium resources, meaningful connections, and the validation they deserve. Where geographical boundaries don't limit professional growth. Where evidence-based practice meets practical innovation. Where every clinician feels supported, connected, and empowered to deliver their best work.
